About me
aleah bradshaw is a performing artist, writer, and educator with a passion for poetry and hip hop as tools of liberation and creative expression. They were born and raised in Colorado by two Trinidadian American immigrant parents, playing gamecube with their brother, and alternating Kirk Franklin and Ludacris CDs. They now live in Oakland, California, where their music collective closegood has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, PAPER Magazine, Afropunk, and many more.
