About me
amalee b. (they/she) works across experimental writing, painting, installation, and the curatorial. Currently, they facilitate a monthly poetry workshop inspired by the Black Radical Tradition at The Sanctuary in Oakland. Amalee’s practice is motivated by the principle that we should do what we can with what we have to leave our communities more beautiful than we found them.
