About me
aracelis girmay is a poet, editor, and teacher. Her poems and essays have been published widely and can be found in e-flux, The Paris Review online, and The Poetry Review. Collaborations include an experiment in performance with musicians Ashleigh Gordon and Brittany J. Green as well as the chapbook and was a flower, with book artist Valentina Améstica. Girmay is on the editorial board of the African Poetry Book Fund. GREEN OF ALL HEADS, her fourth full-length collection, came out last fall.
