About me
Ben Ehrenreich is the author, most recently, of Hold Still, published October 2026 by City Lights. He has also written two books of nonfiction—the American Book Award-winning Desert Notebooks: A Road Map for the End of Time and The Way to the Spring: Life and Death in Palestine, based on his years of reporting from the West Bank, as well as two novels, Ether and The Suitors. His essays, journalism, and criticism have appeared in Harper’s, the London Review of Books, The Nation, The Baffler, Rolling Stone, and many other publications, and have been recognized with a PEN Center USA Literary Award and a National Magazine Award.
