About me
Brent Armendinger (he/him) is the author of Street Gloss (The Operating System, 2019) and The Ghost in Us Was Multiplying (Noemi Press, 2015), both of which were finalists for the California Book Award in Poetry. As a poet, he is interested in queer embodiment, site-specific practice, ecopoetics, and ritual procedures. His poems and translations have appeared in many journals, including Asymptote, Bennington Review, Colorado Review, Conjunctions online, Denver Quarterly, DIAGRAM, Foglifter, Georgia Review, Ghost Proposal, and The Texas Review. Brent teaches creative writing at Pitzer College and lives in Los Angeles with his husband, Joseph Gallucci, a media archivist and DJ.
