About me
Denise Masiel is a Caribbean-American storyteller from Texas. She is an essayist and poet dedicated to the art of capturing feelings of warmth, passion, and visceral emotions in her work. Her poetry has been published in The Ana and Mujer Manifesto, and she is an active spoken word performer that has collaborated with Bay Area creative organizations such as MoAD, Decentered Arts, Psyched! Radio SF, Litquake, and more. Though she is a fighter in spirit, she is a lover at heart.
