About me
James J. Siegel is a San Francisco-based poet and arts organizer. For the past 11 years, he has been the
host and curator of the monthly Literary Speakeasy show at Martuni’s piano bar, which brings together
Bay Area authors, poets, and songwriters for an evening of words and martinis. James is also the author
of the poetry collections “The God of San Francisco” (Sibling Rivalry Press) and “How Ghosts Travel”
(Spuyten Duyvil).
