About me
Joan Granite (she/her) is a DJ, producer, and is a devoted presence in the Bay Area underground. Her sets balance euphoria with introspection, held together by emotional intentionality and unshakeable optimism. Every set is a communion, connecting the senses between sweat, spirit, and sound — she will submerge you.
Over the years, Joan has been invited to experiences and parties like Ever Afters, Polyglamorous, Campette, Lazy Bear and Honcho Campout. She has a multitude of features and recorded mixes on her Soundcloud for listening, hosted by collectives such as Honcho, Double Virgo, Fun Party, and SutroFM.
The Baptist believes the DJ and the dancefloor are in equal communion — the congregation just as sacred as the music that binds them.
