Omar Zahzah is a writer, poet, freelance journalist, and Assistant Professor of Arab, Muslim, Ethnicities and Diasporas (AMED) Studies in the Department of Race and Resistance Studies (RRS) at San Francisco State University. A scholar and organizer of Lebanese Palestinian descent, Dr. Zahzah is the former Education and Advocacy Coordinator of Eyewitness Palestine, a role that saw him training delegates to Palestine about Palestinian political history and culture, and viewing Palestine as a racial justice struggle. He is the author of Terms of Servitude: Zionism, Silicon Valley, and Digital Settler Colonialism in the Palestinian Liberation Struggle, co-published by The Censored Press and Seven Stories Press (2025) as well as a contributing poet to Heaven Looks Like Us: Palestinian Poetry (Haymarket Books, 2025.)
