About me
Piranha Psychotronica is a San Francisco-based transfeminine genderqueer filmmaker, film programmer, theater artist, writer, and performer. She is best known for creating and producing the stage show series “Select Thine Own Journey” (called a “must-see” by SF Gate) and for her theatrical directing work with Oasis Arts, Ray of Light Theater, and Circus Center, amongst others. Her short films Evil in Residence and FrankenDivine have played in film festivals worldwide, while some of her other production credits can be seen on streaming services such as Amazon Prime and Tubi. With her husband Edmond Soun, she produces Media Meltdown, a media and performing arts collective specializing in film production, theatrical experiences, nightlife events, and film exhibition, and together they curate and produce the SF Underground Short Film Festival.
