About me
Rucy Cui is a writer from San Jose, California, who has also called Texas, Wyoming, and the south of France home. Her stories appear in The Georgia Review and other publications, where they’ve been recognized with the Barry Hannah Prize and the Bennington Fiction Prize. Her nonfiction appears in Lonely Planet. A 2024–26 Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, she has received support from Hedgebrook, Monson Arts, Ucross Foundation, Vermont Studio Center, the Sewanee Writers' Conference, and beyond. She is currently at work on a novel.
